The Auto Lube unit has so many way to control the timer working and it cause customer does not know how to use. We would like to use Auto Lube by its own timer, does not control by PLC. Before Lube unit depend on the plc input power to the Lube unit (parameter 179), now we direct power 110v input to lube and use their own timer to control the lube.
The parameter 179 is Centroid PLC control the Auto Lube timer is no longer use.
The Lube unit input power 110V will be modification as follow.
* Control M400:
RTK3: Remove cable H8 –110V Lube, and connect to H7 110V input, black –110ACH(102), white –110ACN (103) and green connect to ground (104). (Top board of RTK3).
* M400S:
DC3IO: Jumper wires 126 and 127 at H10 –out 2.
Setting timer on Auto Lube unit.
INT: set 20 minutes.
ACT: set 8 seconds.
That mean every 20 minutes, the lube pumps 8 seconds. Depend on your program cycle time, for sample: your program cycle time is 1 hour so the lube pumps total 3 times and 24 seconds. If you see too much oil, you adjust more than 20 minutes.
Machine has not used for a long time. We have to press the [F] button at the Lube unit or adjust dial to 0 minute to pump some oil, before run machine. Then set 20 minutes back
