Replacement Clock Spring
 
Move quill to top position and lock the quill, remove screw (A), quill handle, hub (B) and key (C). Using hook spanner to hold housing (E) and remove screws (D), allowing housing to rotate slowly releasing clock spring tension. Lift end of spring from peg on the pinion shaft. Rotating housing (E) counter-clockwise from head casting, remove clock spring from housing. Refit spring to main housing. Replace clock spring housing (E), use spanner to turn housing clockwise until spring locates on peg in pinion shaft and lock screws (D).
